At the most, I smoked 35 per day for around ten years. I started smoking 5 to 10 a day when I was 12. I started cutting down to that number again about 7 years before my quit date. I quit smoking in my house first. Then I tried to quit and stopped smoking in the car. I cut out smoking here and there. The hardest was not smoking in the morning. I changed that habit to drinking water, instead of smoking. The idea is that I slowly changed myhabits to change the mindset around smoking. I feel very good about my current quit. I’ve been practicing!
