I managed to get through my first day without a cigarette. As I was out driving around I almost stopped a couple of times and bought a pack but I sweated it out and made the first 24 hours. I did take a couple of very hot showers to try to get the toxins out of my skin. It seemed to have helped. I also stripped the bed, loaded up all of the towels and gathered up every bit of clothing I've worn while smoking and took it all to the cleaners and dropped it off. I even managed to clean out the inside of the car. I'm actually having a nicfit while I type this and that's ok. Why is that ok? Because I'm in charge now not the nicotine.
