Hello all,  I'm am making an effort to "re-join" the group.  I've missed being here but the "grip" of depression is strong.  My wife has been home a week - she was gone for ten weeks hospital and rehab.  She is in a wheelchair for now she'll be able to walk early next year.  Son is home for the weekend to help out.  Family is Alaska is doing well, working at the school and the other girl will be here sometime today.

I've been able to stay alcohol and smoke free though all of this, I'm on meds now for depression they help - now it's up to me.

I quit on October 25, 2013, it was the best decision I ever made (or, one of them). I smoked for over 50 years and quit Cold Turkey. My most useful tool is gratitude, you can borrow some from me.
