Wondering on Wednesday

The Piscataquis River in Medford, Maine (My adopted hometown), I'm sure more ice is gone than this by now.

Sometimes, maybe a lot of times, I wonder what would have happened if............

What if I had quit in 1966 when my first son was born? 

What if I had quit in 1984 when my last child was born?

What if...........What if......What if.......

All of that is wasted energy, energy that should be spent on today.  Am I grateful? Am I happy with my quit?

The answer is always YES!
