Now that you have joined the Ex Community, you are to become a warrior of/for EX.  Each day you must put on the full armor of battle to protect your quit.  Joining the army of smoberity one must consider taking a daily pledge that you will not smoke no matter what.  Daily Pledge   Join with others and make the commitment that you will not smoke NOPE not one puff ever no matter what.  The NOPE should become your daily motto/mantra.  NOPE, not one puff ever ... remember that.  Know that you are not alone to fight the battles.  Be aware that some of the greatest battles come just before the greatest victories so never give up or give in. I heard that somewhere.   You win one battle at a time, one day at a time so that each day can be a day WON and not day ONE.

No matter where we are in our quits, life happens and we have to be ready to put on the full armor.  Ready how?  Know when you are vulnerable and learn to automatically go into the protection battlle mode and Put on the Full Armor to fight the battle of addiction to nicotine.  Your armor should include the following.

 1. Belt of truth and Knowledge

Education is the key to a successful quit.  Read the suggested materials.   Understand the law of addiction. Know the Truth for yourself. Learn and relearn behavior. Study read, blog research, ask questions.

2. Breastplate of Determination. pastedImage_4.pngpastedImage_3.png

Be determined from within yourself that you are going to give this quit 100% of your time. No matter what is happening in your life your quit is the priority.

3. Steadfast in Commitment

Stand firm in your quit that no matter what, when, where, or who will not be an EXcuse to smoke.

Not even death, divorce, job loss, sickness, anger, loneliness, boredom, etc. nothing.
4. Shield of Faith and CouragepastedImage_5.png

Do not doubt. Trust and believe in yourself. Believe that you can and you will. Whatever you are going through, know that it will not last forever.  Keep looking and moving toward the light as it gets brighter.
5. Helmet of SalvationpastedImage_6.png

Cleanse your mind of negative thinking.  Change people, places and things if necessary.  Be mindful of what is going on with you. HALT Hunger, Anger, Loneliness and Tired can be confused with the urge to smoke. Know you will become a new person for the better.

6. Sword  ProtectionpastedImage_9.png

Develop your own Toolkit for your protection.   Use your innermost strength as never before to protect the quit from the addiction to nicotine. Come here first when you are in crisis and we will help you in battle. Trust, pray and believe that God will work it out. Never give up.
