Starting over

I actually got to 106 days and my great friend and neighbor passed away. I know he was sick from cancer and the doctors told him he had a couple of months to live; but his passing seemed to have happened suddenly. 

I guess I felt that having a cigarette would help me get through the heartache and feeling like I wanted to cry; but I ended up smoking the whole pack within a couple of days. It didn’t solve anything except make me feel sick and worse off.

Now I have to start the process over again and hopefully learn from my mistake.

My new quit day is July 26th; and  I hope I can make it through another 106 days and beyond.
