Does it always come in 3s?

I'm approaching 6 months!!! The closer I get, the more I think about cigarettes. Why? What is happening? I don't want one! Why am I thinking about them? It's so bizarre!

I remember reading that the first 3 months is the hardest. For me it was the first 3 weeks.  Then around the 3 months mark. And now around the 6 month mark! What gives?!

Hi! I started smoking when I was in Italy in 2003. Everyone was doing it, and it made me feel so cool. I've quit numerous times but never for long. This time is it. I want it to be. I am so over it. I want to respect my body, I want a strong immune system, I don't want to waste time smoking, I don't like the extra stress smoking makes me feel, I don't want to smell, and I'm tired of hiding that dirty habit from so many people. I'm 3 weeks without a cigarette today (5/27/20), and I'm so proud of myself. I wanted a resource I can rely on when I have tough days and temptations, and for sources to continuously educate myself on the health benefits of quitting for reassurance.
