Bilateral pneumonia and severe sinus infection

Newbies, lurkers, be ware.  Even after almost 2 years smober, one can still be very fragile when it comes to former smokers.  It started as the "insignificant" flu, but for the last 2 nights I could not lay down without coughing violently.  So here I am today, in bed but not able to lay down, and just found out both my lungs are impacted.  And that along with a severe sinus infection...every time I cough the eyes want to pop out of the orbits.

Prior to 2016, I never has any lung infection in my life of 58 back then.

The bad bronchitis was the last drop, and I quit smoking.  All proud my lungs should be beautiful after nearly 2 years of no smoke, I could not have been more wrong.  We are still very fragile compared to non-smokers, maybe even tens of years somber.

So please, I urge you, pick your date and do it.  Those in the first week, it will pass, nobody dies of quitting smoking.

Second week, hey you have already the most dificult behind you....in No man's land, read, and read, and get through it.

NOTTHING is worth smoking over, if you think there is, these are just EXcuses!

Everything is worth quitting, your kids, Grandkids, wife, but most of all Yourself!
