Day 3 of quitting pretty much cold turkey. It's not too bad most of the time, but I keep getting the random urges to smoke, my hand reaches for the pocket I've always kept my smokes in, and then I realize I don't have anymore. Slight panic, and then I try to distract myself. I've got a lot of people here that have helped me with advice. I chew gum, I have jolly ranchers, I drink lots of water. When I'm at work, I sit in an office all day, so I can't just go read or walk or other things. Currently I'm fighting off a migraine. I've had a sore throat for the past three days as well. All I know is that I am still not giving up. My husband hasn't smoked in three days either but he's not trying to quit. I'm worried that I'll fall off the band wagon when he goes and buys more.
