Good afternoon everyone,

I apologize for being absent lately.  I was just waiting for things to calm down at my end before I sat down with you all.

Here are a few updates:

1.)  My husband got another job.  He is working here in town.  Since starting his new job, he has been coming home in a much better mood.  He will not make nearly as much as he used to, but as long as we are paying our bills, we will be ok.

2.)  Frank has some scabbing where he was neutered, but other than that, he is acting like his normal, loving self.

3.)  I battled a cold during the first few weeks of this month, but I finally started feeling better this week.

While getting my fur family ready for the day, I heard on the radio that we are supposed to get 1-2 inches of snow overnight and into tomorrow.  However, any accumulation we will get will melt with the warmer temperatures.

Right now, I have Holden next to me on the couch.  Hope is next to him, and Frank is next to her.  Cheddar and Frances are downstairs in their favorite napping spots.

My husband and I both have Thanksgiving off.  We are going to have ham, green bean casserole, scalloped potatoes, King's Hawaiian sweet rolls, and some kind of dessert (My husband will buy this.).  I already have the ham and rolls in the refrigerator, the ingredients to make the green bean casserole sitting on the kitchen counter, and the scalloped potatoes in the kitchen cupboard.  It will be just he and I and our five fur babies (and my fur baby Hannah with wings).  I would not have it any other way.

I am thinking of New Year's Resolutions already.  I really need to write them down.  One of my New Year's Resolutions is to stay connected with you all more.  I am grateful you all are on my smobriety journey with me.

How have you all been?  How are you all going to spend your Thanksgiving during this pandemic?

Jen
