Good morning!  I'm toying with the idea of purchasing a vape (ZERO nictoine) for the times when my hands don't know what to do with themselves.  I'm trying to think ahead.  Like most, I am a creature of habit.  I have my "morning routine" or "me time" which includes sitting in front of my laptop drinking copious amounts of coffee, listening to music, and pondering the universe.  Of course, this ritual includes cigarettes.  Come January 19th (my quit day,) cigarettes will no longer be part of something I've been doing for nearly 20 years.  From what I've gleaned from perusing various posts, there seems to be quite a few who frown upon vapes (and any other NRT) and believe that the ONLY way to quit is to do it 'cold turkey.'  I appauld the ones who can just put the cigarettes down and simply "walk away."  I am not that person.

For ME, cigarette smoking isn't just about the dependency upon nicotine.  It is also about the 'familiar.'  I shake like a dog shitting razor blades on a good day and am already envisioning how not smoking (or any of the related actions associated with smoking) is going to affect me.  I am prescribed xanax for  the days when I am a "jump ahead of a fit" and use MMJ for a variety of reasons.  Cutting cigarettes out of my life is going to be one of the hardest things I have ever attempted.  I am merely trying to cover my bases and make this difficult change...manageable.

How I feel right about now...

i will go insane and take you with me.gif
