Ok so I’m one day away from my Quit Day. Today I’m going to look at as much information as I can about the first day. I’m kind of nervous now but I don’t know why. Yesterday I spent most of the day setting up an exercise space in the basement. I am drawn to the idea of changing something, taking myself out of the normal where cravings will have more power. I want to lose a few pounds so I set up the area in a way that I can turn on a DVD quickly and do either yoga or exercise or I can just sit there and watch a movie. It’s different and I think that will help me. This whole approach, connecting with the Ex community is different. I loved my morning message about the day before. I signed up for the daily text tips.
Question: if you had one piece of advice or tip that is most helpful for the first day what would it be? Start with the very moment you wake up. This morning before I even got out of bed the first thing I thought of was today is the last day I will be a smoker and I got up and had a cigarette. I usually wait until after I’ve made the coffee.
