...day to go?!

How crazy this is to think about! One year ago today I threw out my remaining nicotine lozenges because they were just BLECCCHHH, and since I was out of town at the time I just left it at that. And so Christmas Day became my Quit Day. Was it emotional? You bet it was. Good thing I was distracted by a toddler opening presents.

So tomorrow I will give myself an imaginary secret decoder ring and official certificate of membership in the 6% club! I will also give myself one day to revel in this accomplishment before it's once again Onward...to the 2nd year.

Ever Onward!

I became nicotine-free on Christmas Day 2017. That's what I use as my quit date. I had smoked cigarettes for 45 years, then vaped Juuls for a few months before quitting cold turkey when I used up my supply of pods. I am a retired widow, living in Upstate NY.
