...days to go!

I found this community about 3 weeks after I quit, so I essentially did it on my own at first, but I knew I couldn't keep it going alone. The human beings I encountered here met me where I was, cheered me on, encouraged me each step of the way, and gave me the handholds I needed.  I literally depended on every comment, every "point" or badge that showed progress, and every hand that reached out to mine.

Most of those hands belong to Elders, a fabulous group I cannot wait to join in 5 days. These are steady, reliable, strong voices I depended on every single day. There was no way I would ever have let them down by letting myself down.

So a shout-out to just a few of the daily pillars of the EX community:

Daniela2016‌               mikecity               JonesCarpeDiem

Giulia‌                                    Thomas3.20.2010‌

And of course, Mark, who for some reason I couldn't "mention" with a link.

I love and appreciate you all.

I became nicotine-free on Christmas Day 2017. That's what I use as my quit date. I had smoked cigarettes for 45 years, then vaped Juuls for a few months before quitting cold turkey when I used up my supply of pods. I am a retired widow, living in Upstate NY.
