...days to go.

And it's a beautiful day today. The sun is shining,

and there's no more snow on the ground at the moment.

Good conditions for a nice walk (instead of staying inside and cleaning).

I met a new friend in my apartment complex. We have a lot in common, but it occurs to me that there's one thing I didn't have to worry about:  whether or not she smokes. I'd always thought about that before. A smoking friend was an ally. A non-smoking friend was a complication.

Isn't it awesome not to have to think about that? Who needs more complications?

I became nicotine-free on Christmas Day 2017. That's what I use as my quit date. I had smoked cigarettes for 45 years, then vaped Juuls for a few months before quitting cold turkey when I used up my supply of pods. I am a retired widow, living in Upstate NY.
