Inbetweenerville

Inspired by roller831 and her weekly check-in for No Man's Land and In Between, I decided to put a face to what she named "Inbetweenerville", much like No Man's Land is talked about as a desert.  I imagine Inbetweenerville as a village!

The shops, the people, the lovely walkways, the quaint decor...it can be such a wonderful experience.  Here I've made new friends, and gone exploring, and seen things in a brand-new light.

But there are pitfalls.  Some shops are quite nice, offering a warming cup of tea or a healing balm. Some friends have shops offering good books and healthy snacks.  There are welcoming lights of good advice, and there are charlatans leading away into darkness.  Beware!

Some shops are too expensive!  There's one wine shop I simply cannot afford at all, and I do love wine.  It would cost me all of my 147 days of freedom, and I will not pay that.  On the other hand, I've discovered that the beer store only costs me actual money, so that's okay.

Everyone walking through Inbetweenerville will have to decide what they can and cannot afford here themselves.  Help fill up Inbetweenerville with your shops and decor and warm, welcoming lights.

I became nicotine-free on Christmas Day 2017. That's what I use as my quit date. I had smoked cigarettes for 45 years, then vaped Juuls for a few months before quitting cold turkey when I used up my supply of pods. I am a retired widow, living in Upstate NY.
