I'll Never be an ELDER

It's not what you think. I fully intend to keep this quit going and make it past a year and more, which would technically make me an "elder" here. So in a way, my title is a lie. But what I really mean is I'm not the dedicated, committed, sympathetic and loyal sort that sticks around long past my own selfish needs. Those who DO that here are amazing! I am continually astounded by the consistency (and stamina) of support and love given daily. It takes some really special people to keep this going day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year. I'm exhausted just typing that sentence.  You guys rock.  Thank you so much for what you do for so many.

I became nicotine-free on Christmas Day 2017. That's what I use as my quit date. I had smoked cigarettes for 45 years, then vaped Juuls for a few months before quitting cold turkey when I used up my supply of pods. I am a retired widow, living in Upstate NY.
