DAY 4 Once Again

Stopped, then started. Stopped, then started. Now have been smoking for months. Stopped again 4 days ago. Felt a little loopy but was on a trip with 7 other people which made it easier to never be alone. Having alone time means smoking time. Am now on flight home. Facing inevitable alone time. Want to feel that alone time means - FUN time, CREATIVE time, EXERCISE time, EXPLORING time. When will this happen? Right now am still craving.

About the Author
I am a 55 year old health care professional and have considered myself a non smoker my entire adult life. I was a runner (and smoked), yogi, walker, exerciser, clean food advocate, etc. But smoked secretly anyway. It is the nicotine I’m addicted to, not the habit. Quitting nicotine makes me feel so uncomfortable and disoriented. Have used patches and lozenges. Patches kept me awake at night so became addicted to lozenges years ago when quitting. Am now back in the same predicament. Quit again today and am back on lozenges.
