Almost forgot to write anything today.  Not missing smoking at all.  Am missing lozenges ALOT but not as much as yesterday.  It’s been quite a challenge to stay off all nicotine.  Headaches, lack of focus, irritability, short-temper, insomnia are a few of the withdrawal symptoms I’ve experienced in the last 36 hours.  Kept really busy today.  Am hoping a few of the withdrawal symptoms abate by tomorrow morning.

About the Author
I am a 55 year old health care professional and have considered myself a non smoker my entire adult life. I was a runner (and smoked), yogi, walker, exerciser, clean food advocate, etc. But smoked secretly anyway. It is the nicotine I’m addicted to, not the habit. Quitting nicotine makes me feel so uncomfortable and disoriented. Have used patches and lozenges. Patches kept me awake at night so became addicted to lozenges years ago when quitting. Am now back in the same predicament. Quit again today and am back on lozenges.
