I miss understood what you meant Barbara145 ,according to Mark a few people didn't like Diane's comments about Jesus and it bothered them and they reported it, there's a blog about it back a few wks ago. I don't remember who's blog it was but maybe Giulia or YoungAtHeart or even Mark could help you find the blog so you could read it and all of the comments

What can people misunderstand about, "take what you need and leave the rest?"

If you don't like the way a person writes, or how they write it, DON'T READ IT!  If you see something written by them that you find offensive, then simply put them on YOUR "ignore list."  Doesn't mean they don't have as much right as anybody else to have their say here! 
What will it come to - I don't especially like frogs.  Shall I report a person because they post photos of them all the time

YoungAtHeart‌ You don't like FROGS?  I have no idea who reported Diane Joy but I do know that it really threw her for a loop.  She was pretty upset and blogged more than once about it.  She put the "Take what you like..." disclaimer in every one of her blogs.

Oh, now, I cannot get into trouble so soon since I came back to this site.   

When someone disagrees with someone or something in this current date and time we live in, they are told to ignore it, change the channel, do not read the newspaper, get over it, etc., etc., etc.  I refuse to give in and allow my freedom of speech to be silenced, so I will just use Diane Joy's words for dealing with certain people with an anti-religious mentality...

"Take what you need, and leave the rest."

I will refrain from saying anything else, with the exception of repeating those words to people who have a problem with talking about religion...

I don't understand why anyone would report her for saying the word Jesus on this site. That person that reported her must be afraid of Jesus to say anything about Diane saying his name. Jesus does not hurt people and I hope Diane comes back and writes the way she wants to write. If someone does not like what they read then they can get off of that post no one is making anyone read anything on this site it is our choice to read or not to read.

I found the blog about which we are talking....Suggested to ME.  Mark DID make it clear that he was only asking Diane Joy not to comment on a blog in her usual manner because the person wouldn't, in that instance, easily be able to only leave the rest.  He was not asking her not to blog in her usual manner.

Apologies Mark‌ for not reading the conversation before I reacted!  I still don't understand why the person with a problem could not have sent her a pm instead of reporting her.  "Didn't want to hurt her feelings."  Well, gee., reporting her certainly didn't take care of THAT!

I don't report people on my posts ever for saying anything they want about their religion and I never will. I hope this all stops it's not a crime and it does not hurt anyone this place should be free speech to express our selves. You never know what one person says might help someone else on a post so let it be said and stop reported stuff like this behind someone back. That's my point of view.
