Help :/

I smoked my last cigarette friday afternoon & the withdrawals are making me nausea & headaches, trouble sleeping & a dry mouth. Any advice?

It does get easier I promise you! spend your spare time reading all you can on here, especially the section on the home page where it says ' Best of ex ' .  Things are so so much easier for me now. They have been for awhile now. Welcome to the group. And congrats on your three days of freedom!

Hi Crzyhjb925, glad you are here. You're doing great - congratulations on over 3 days quit!

Like the others have said, trouble sleeping is very common when you first quit smoking, so don't worry. You'll get your natural sleep rhythm back. In the meantime, here's a link to a website with great suggestions for how to get some shut-eye.

Friday was your last cigarette? YOU ARE DOING AWESOME! 
I know everything you are experiencing now is terrible, awful, dreadful.

But you are so far into it. You are almost over that hump and things are going to even out.

Keep quitting!
Don't look back.

Don't forget what this feels like, you never want to do it again.

Check in often. We'll keep you honest.

Hi I have 10 days today and have had a few times when I thought I was going to blow my top!! It's not easy to stay quit but I am bound and determined to do that this time and doing everything I can, chewing gum(cinnamon) deep stomach breathing, calling someone who supports me, writing in my journal, reading.  I have had some nights where it has been hard to stay asleep..so I have go water and read for a while and have managed to get through it..hang in there you are doing a great thing for yourself and you so matter to all of us....
