I started when i was 7. I am now going to quit at 14.
Don't wait too late like I did. I started at 21 and smoked for over forty years.
If you use common sense by not talking yourself into smoking or putting yourself in risky situations or being overcome by emotion, you can succeed.

You can quit smoking by believing in yourself, be willing, determined and totally committed to succeed and you can and will be successful one precious smoke free day at a time, I started smoking the odd cigarette at the age of 12 and at 14 was smoking a half pk a day then at 15 roughly 30 cigs a day for the next 40 yrs with a half dozen or so Half hearted failed attempts until I found out that I have mild copd which with the help of this site and the right mindset I'm heading for 3 precious years of smoke free living and you can do it too while you are young. mary17 N. I think it's wonderful that you're quitting smoking now! You can do this!

Wow I didn't think to look at the date when this was written but hopefully she's still enjoying her Freedom! kristen_9.7.15 .
