You are right, It was way over the top. I was ranting at myself. I have to store my rants and reread before pubishing. I get downright caustic.

There you go again ... = )

You're doing fine.  Repeat after me.  I'm doing fine.  I'm doing just fine.  I'm doing finer than fine.  I am the finest!

I'm a little confused here.  Did you delete what you said pongaselo‌?  I see people responding but don't understand what they're responding to?   Part of the etiquette of this site is to refrain from deleting comments as it - well confuses people, because the reference/thread totally disappears.  I've been known to be a little harsh in my responses but I own up to it if people find it offensive and apologize.  Quitting and caring can make us frustrated and snarky at times.  It's okay.  It's part of our recovery process.  And we're big in forgiveness here.  /blogs/Giulia-blog/2016/01/27/thoughts-on-deleting-comments

It has now been deleted.  And in my opinion need to be deleted.  Nothing at all constructive in the comment.

Set a quit date, prepare, and get started again.  Freedom from smoking is a wonderful feeling - give yourself that chance to see how good it feels.  Best wishes to you.

This addiction is harder for some than others. Offensive gestures may not be what works here that will make a person give up completely! How would you feel if you drove a person into staying a slave for big tobacco yes it is a choice but with motivation like this it make the choice so much easier to make. Some people have a hard time with positive self talk and come here for a boost what if they saw your comment? I understand your point but we have to be a bit more careful with our approach to one another. Friends and family already beat us down if we fail so we come here to basically have the strength to get back on. We havent failed until we've given up completely.

I am new here and don't have any advice yet...but the fact that you are here means you haven't given up and that's a good thing.  Just wanted to say that you are not alone in feeling like a failure...right there with you. Best of luck and perseverance to you, we can do this!
