I didn't really have insomnia, but my sleep schedule was whacked my first week.  I went to bed and got up really early....like 630 pm and 230 am.   It won't last....hang in there!!

I had terrible insomnia. I tried all of the sleep hygiene tips but with limited luck. However, I knew it was only temporary and just decided to make the most of it to read up on Smoking Cessation and Addiction. Besides, I practically lived here at BecomeanEx my first Month!

Sleep Hygiene Tips - American Sleep Association

Hang in there! It was only a few days and then things got much better!

I took melatonin 5 mg for a few wks until I started adjusting to my quit, someone suggested it to me so I checked with my pharmacist and she said it was fine for me, so maybe check it out for you and a Dr told me once to try gravol so every once in awhile if I can't sleep I'll take one and it helps but in a short while you should be able to sleep again and get lots of Zzzzzzzzzzzzz's.  Redsoxnut

Wow, I thought it was just me having an odd time with sleep!  Reading this makes me feel hopeful that it is temporary.  I was starting to think it might by a side effect of Wellbutrin (Bupropion)? I will check out the suggested reading. I am into a second week of only getting about 3hrs sleep then I wake and can't get back.  I do stay in the bed and try to keep relaxed through meditative breathing.  I'm really tired most of the time and yawn big - a lot!  Why can't I sleep????

I took Tylenol p.m. last night and slept like a baby. It's not addicting all that's in it is acetaminophen and Benadryl. I'm a nurse so I figured I'd try it and it worked perfectly

Benadryl is guaranteed to put me to sleep.  So glad you finally got some rest.  Your patients will be happy,
