How do we find our SENT private messages?

I think this has already been asked, but I couldn't locate it.  When I click on the Bell for inbox items, and then on the message filter, it lists everything, I assume.   I understand we can't search for specific people in our inbox, but is there no way to view sent vs incoming messages?  Are they all just jumbled up together?

filter by messages and click on the message you want to view and you'll see the stream or thread or whatever

Go to https://excommunity.becomeanex.org/inbox?filter=directmessages   Here you will see both sent and received.  If you have sent messages back and forth they will be in the same conversation.  If you've sent a message but haven't received a reply then only your message will appear.  

You must have "unread only" unchecked.

If you are the last one to reply then your username will appear before the Direct Message icon.  If someone else has replied last then their username will appear before the icon.

Thank you.  And one assumes that every new message sent to the same person, if it has a different title, will appear as a separate thread.  So if you want to find it more easily, give it a different title each time?

Yeah I would recommend a title.  Though it does say who the conversation is with.  

I try try to stick to one ongoing message thread instead of starting a new one every time.  I can't keep track of what the previous comment was.  I need context to keep the conversation going

Going back to this topic - I'm finding it EXTREMELY frustrating to locate certain messages from certain people - sent or received.  It would be enormously helpful if there were an additional filter once in the personal message section of our inboxes to search for a particular member's communication.  Trying to locate a past message can take enormous amounts of time.  AND it's extremely frustrating to have to wade through reams and reams of posts.  Something perhaps to suggest to Jive for a future change.
