Inviting all the newbies

You are all invited to stop by Welcome to the EX Café     Wednesday 02.08.2017‌.

There you can meet some of our elders (people who have quit 1 year or more), ask questions, grab a cup of coffee, just say Hi or share a smile!  There will always be someone to greet you, help you if you need help, or guide you to the right place on the site, or the right resource to help your quit stay strong and healthy!

If you feel you have not been heard after posting in Blogs or Conversations, you can drop a line at the Café, use the @ followed by your post name or your user name, and we will come find you, and try our best to help!

We really hope to see you soon, and be of service to you!

I saw that post and I actually copied and pasted the answers...I go to my inbox first, I THINK, I do try to make sure to hit the Cafe and to make the pledge and ride the train.  I have no idea how to find the newbies...I am too overwhelmed trying to just stay afloat.

From my experience, many join this site and never become active.  I think they join out of curiosity or some join because of health insurance requirements.  I have a hand written list that I have made up from new members when they post something (blog, discussion, questions, comment).  It is not 100% accurate because I am sure that I miss some, but it is better than nothing.

Hello!

   I'm a newbie and it feels awesome to being invited. I quit like million times in past 3 years. I literally quir everyday and I failed each of them. I've been a closet smoker for over 3 years and it's soo hard to go through this alone. Believe me. It's not what you wish for. I think I'm so relieved now. Because I finally found out a community who has been through hard days and who would understand me. 

   Please look for me in next few days. I will also try my best to be around here. 

   It's really nice to meet you all. Really, it's nice to meet you!
