Conversations‌ you will find most of what we called "blogs" on the old platform.

You can also find us at the EX Café     Mon 02.06.17‌, where we stop by every day mostly to say hello.  You can grab a cup of coffee on your way to work or whatever the beginning of your day is, or on your way home, or at any time.  We serve coffee, tea, and food, unfortunately it is all electronic, might be hard to digest sometimes   Everybody is welcome to stop by, please spread the word!

Have a good night!

I am probably the worst person to ask...try looking for the little white bell in the dark red rectangle.  I almost always have 50+ notifications in mine, you can also click on conversations, and there IS Expert Advice.  @Mark, @Giulia, crazymama_Lori Blog and https://excommunity.becomeanex.org/blogs/Jennifer_Quit_05-01-14-blog?sr=search&searchId=b8bf855f-79a...‌ have been really helpful.  Giulia even wrote a primer to help.

You can go to the Home page, and on the left it will show the recent active blogs.  You can then scroll down past Recent Active Conversation and past Featured Blog Posts (before New Member) and under that you will see a red link that reads All Blog Posts.  https://excommunity.becomeanex.org/content?filterID=all~objecttype~objecttype%5Bblogpost%5D

Another way to get there:  "You can also go to https://excommunity.becomeanex.org/blogs to see all the Blogs.  But it will sort from most recent activity to oldest.  If you want to see what was created last then you'll need to re-sort the page from Newest to Oldest by date created.  You can also go to My EX Feed as found at the top of every page and then look in the right column for the Blogs widget." (re Mark)

Mark‌  Perhaps I don't know the best way to tell someone how to get to the blogs area.  OR perhaps it's too darn complicated and  needs to be up front and center and included on that the very top header line along with:  "Home - My EX Feed - Conversations - Celebrations and Events etc."  Those are easy one-click ways to get to those topics.  Why can't Blogs be added as a topic to that line?  Is there a limit on the amount of topics?  It shouldn't be made as difficult as it is presently to get to them.  When too many questions come in about the same subject - that's a clue of a tweak that's needed.  MOO

Yes there is a limit.  We can only have 5 items on the navigation after Home.   We have My EX Feed, Conversations‌, Celebrations & Events‌, Groups and https://excommunity.becomeanex.org/community/expert-advice?sr=search&searchId=18a9e7f1-8b01-4f5a-bba....

We're looking at the options to make it things easier to navigate to.

What, Jive has limits?  I thought it was limitless!  lol  Thanks for the explanation.

Limitless doesn't necessarily mean good.

The more options the more prone software is to bugs.  No one likes bugs.  Since the site can adjust between mobile, tablet and PC there have to be design principles that ensure that it looks good across all screens.  Additionally for software to be good and continually get better it has to be usable by multiple people.  Lastly, it's important to stay up to date.  Having too many options could prevent a lot of good things from happening.  I'm in a constant struggle and would love to have unlimited options but I know what cost that also comes with.

Now never deleting anything and just leaving everything in your community account.  Yes, that is theoretically limitless.

click on home

down and to the right - click on "all blog posts"

I then sort by "latest activity: newest first" to see the most recently updated blogs or sort by "date created: newest first" to see the most recently written blogs.
