Give and get support around quitting

Day 50

Morning, I've hit day 50. I've noticed I've had more cravings and been irritated for past week. Bit rough, why when I've got 50 days behind me. I'm still working in health care trying to keep covid19 away. It's been very stressful at work and I hate this but co workers are really showing their true selves. My mom has late dementia, I help care for her and my dad ended up in hospital. Yes bit of stress. I've been eating more and it shows, lol. But every day I see my ex feed, what others are doing and feeling and yall help me so much. I hope you all are doing great and smoke free. Thank y'all!

Congratulations on your 50 days smoke free. These are trying times and I think everyone is a little stressed out.

Hopefully everything will work out for your parents.

Big congrats on your 50 days of success.  Yes these are stressful times and you have a lot to deal with. That just proves how strong your commitment is and that your a winner.  Don't forget you're in NML.  This can be a rough time for some of us.  The psychological piece of quitting takes some time.  Be patient with yourself.  You're doing great.

Do something to celebrate the big 50.  You deserve it!

DO read about No Mans Land.  A lot of quits are lost in this 30- 120 days quit period of time.  I think it's because your family and friends think you should be over it al'ready, and the excitement of actually doing this thing has started to wane.

Pull out the tools you found helpful earlier in your quit and use them.  Just like the ugly early days, this too will pass.

Stay committed.

Congrats on half a hundred!!!!

shannon3colbert‌ is your quit date different than 5/8/20? I want to make sure I'm celebrating the right date. I had 50 days on 5/27/20.

Congratulations on 50!!!   With the stress you are handling and the success you are achieving in quitting, you've done spectacular. Let steam off at Ex whenever you need to. Coming up for air is so important in life, but sometimes stress doesn't allow much of that, so please trust Ex to listen, hear and care. You are achieving your goal to quit smoking--and this is bigger than you might realize. Hang in there.

Congrats on 50 DAYS

Congratulations!!! Yes, stress and NML both can lead to cravings - but smoking only increases stress and NML is doable. Keep stacking those days!
