Delayed reaction

Has anyone who's quit cold Turkey have coughing and light headache and more clearing of the throat than coughing though that started in almost the 3rd  week ?

It takes a bit for your body to adjust to life without nicotine (the headache) and to start cleansing itself of the gunk accumulated by smoking - the bronchial cilia coming to life and and clearing out the accumulated junk (the cough).  Be happy it is happening.  It's further concrete proof of the benefit of quitting!

While I know it doesn't feel like it, you are still early in your quit journey - and these kinds of physical responses are to be expected.

Keep going - it will get better!

Yeah I just get worried and maybe overthinking a bit .. So many different things going on in my body right now that I'm not use too.

Try not to worry (I know - easier said than done)!.  Try to notice the GOOD things that are starting to happen.  Have you noticed your sense of smell and taste improving?  Maybe the absence of that horking up a lung cough after every good laugh?  How about adding up the money you saved and thinking about to what you might treat yourself?  If the good physical changes haven;t started for you, they will SOON!  And the money saved?  Hope you are keeping it in a separate place so you can watch it grow and maybe dream about a weekend getaway when this virus cr@p is over?

Two/three weeks in the current environment is A-MAZING!

Keep going!!!

Thank you so much for the positive words .. I really appreciate them. I need to be around people that support me quitting and not try to down play it like it's nothing .. Thank you again !

You  are right about that, anyone who downplays quitting smoking is either ignorant or just an idiot...sorry, I have had my share of idiots in my life.  Stay close, we have all been where you are, there are no shortcuts in the journey to recovery,  It DOES get easier, remember that.
