Let's Get Moving Part 3

Jump to solution

'The original idea was to "get moving" at least 4 times a week, staying accountable to each other.  Post your accomplishments in the comments. This is the original blog link if you would like to clarify the guidelines

Let's Get Moving Challenge - EX Community.   Any activity counts, as long as you get off your butt and get your heart pumping.  Who knows, maybe we'll lose a little weight or a couple of inches in the meantime.  I hope placing it in discussions this time will work better than a blog post where there were so many entries and becomes harder to locate.  Let's see if we can keep it on the board often and easy to find.

I believe we got sidetracked when I suggested doing other challenges and those challenges were not conducive to everyone. My fault. Lesson learned.  So I am hoping we can get back to doing what "you" do instead of a specific routine.  Got it?.   In the previous post, there were a lot of comments to go through to come up with this list of who participated.  Hopefully, it will catch on again.  Of course, sometimes we got off topic which can happen.  This post really kept me motivated and we had a lot of fun while learning a lot from each other with over 2519 comments on the first blog and 1072 Let's Get Moving 2018 - EX Community  on second blog comments. So let's Get Moving Part 3!

Good morning. I wasn't here much yesterday. I started my day putting down weed and feed.  Pulling weeds here and there.  I spent most of the day setting up a tribute to my sister.  My niece gave me her bench and a rose bush that I had given here. I put the rose bush in the big pot so I can keep an eye on it.  So here it is.  Image may contain: people sitting, plant and outdoor

JACKIE1-25-15‌ ( I know the seeds are in the eyes.  Trouble is the heads were cut off last year, so there ain't no eyes!)  What a beautiful spot to sit and reflect upon your sister.  Ever thought of putting in some morning glory seeds by that fence and letting them climb all over it?  Red bench against a blue background.....

Sootie‌  Last frost date in your area isn't 'til May.  Just because it's warm-er doesn't mean you're not in for a surprise.  I'l send them in May.  Will just make the anticipation that much more delicious!

Good idea with the morning glory.  I did plant some lavender seeds thought.  There is a one-foot depth behind the bench. I am waiting to see how that will look.  I chose lavender because it repels bugs.  I could not find any plants so I had to go with the seeds.

The seeds have not sprouted.  Hopefully, I will be able to buy some lavender plants.

For those who followed my Spring of labor in the woods,  I finished the weeding (finally) and my efforts have been rewarded with lovely Spring blossoms and the awakening of other delights.  I shared some photos onhttps://excommunity.becomeanex.org/message/118579-share-your-art-with-us if you care to see the results.  I am still working on other gardens, and planting grass seed in bare lawn spots and..............

(I don't sit much!!!!)
