Hello,
I fell down and ready to get back to it and do it this time. I have smoked for 35 years and not getting any younger. Want to workout and regain the body I had in my 20's and live healthy! I'm 46 and celebrating 30 years with my husband this June and want to have many more years to celebrate!

TaracaX ... TriGirl might have some ideas and there is also a https://excommunity.becomeanex.org/message/238763-re-lets-get-moving-part-3 that might inspire some healthy moving.

Haha Yes TaracaX! Go read my story. I am in the best shape of my life. And I just noticed I'm almost at 300 days free! You can do this but it takes a no-going-back attitude. One day at a time, for sure. But take the option to fail off the table.
So glad I found this group! I'm at about 64 hours in and starting to really struggle. Anxiety over the state of the world along with what smoking has done to my health has me in a tizzy. However, smoking is NOT AN OPTION. I just want to see some light at the end of the tunnel.
me too!
Let's help each other keep this up. I'm 45, been smoking for at least 25 years. Ready to be done, just need to get thru this first week.

I have been reading posts on here! It's been very helpful. I am just struggling with being anxious and irritated right now and my family wanting me to go back to smoking ("what a terrible time to quit" and "just wait til this is over") thing is, they dont know how terrified I make myself with each cigarette.
Welcome! Well, if your family is sending out the wrong signals, just hang out here with us. We'll send you the right ones. This is the PERFECT time to quit. Not supposed to go out much makes it easier to take smoking off the table. /blogs/Giulia-blog/2020/03/02/the-option Glad you've joined us. Stick close.
