Let's Get Moving Part 3

'The original idea was to "get moving" at least 4 times a week, staying accountable to each other.  Post your accomplishments in the comments. This is the original blog link if you would like to clarify the guidelines

Let's Get Moving Challenge - EX Community.   Any activity counts, as long as you get off your butt and get your heart pumping.  Who knows, maybe we'll lose a little weight or a couple of inches in the meantime.  I hope placing it in discussions this time will work better than a blog post where there were so many entries and becomes harder to locate.  Let's see if we can keep it on the board often and easy to find. 

I believe we got sidetracked when I suggested doing other challenges and those challenges were not conducive to everyone. My fault. Lesson learned.  So I am hoping we can get back to doing what "you" do instead of a specific routine.  Got it?.   In the previous post, there were a lot of comments to go through to come up with this list of who participated.  Hopefully, it will catch on again.  Of course, sometimes we got off topic which can happen.  This post really kept me motivated and we had a lot of fun while learning a lot from each other with over 2519 comments on the first blog and 1072 Let's Get Moving 2018 - EX Community  on second blog comments. So let's Get Moving Part 3!

Oh, I so hope tomorrow is a "cool" day for you.  But curious about where you ski in Ohio?  I dream about getting back on the tennis courts, and I think that you're getting back on the skis after 10 years just might spur me on.  (And for me it's a lot easier to hit against a backboard.)  So do tell us all about it.  I'm rootin' for you!  Hope you've waxed 'em up!

Hi Giulia, well it was a FABULOUS day!!!!! I ski at Snow Trails, Mansfield Ohio......anyway, it started out ruff. The new shaped skies were just making their appearance the last time I skied..( and I got out and looked at my math, it has actually been 20 YEARS SINCE I left Patrol. I had no clue, it did not seem that long...) anyway so I skied all day and used Demo skiis, a pair of K2's which I was not crazy about but by end of day, I was craving them very well. I am skiing again n the morning for a couple hours  before work and gonna demo a couple pair of Rossignols which were always my favorite, Snow makers were working all day but I wear goggles, so no biggie. I had so much fun.!!! I am a tad sore tonight and will probably feel more so in morning, nothing out of the norm.These new shaped skies are a tad different so it took me awhile to figure out that they love being on there edge almost all the time. My old straight skies I could put on edge at my choice. Anyway, what a blast!!!!

Did 4 miles with the Walk Away the Pounds DVD and did a 1mile walk/run outside this morning.

Hi ya'll!  Looks like everyone is moving.  Rooting for ya Missy! I hope you have a great day skiing. Welcome Maki  to the moving group. Way to go TriGirl  on you 100 miles. You and tjanddj  rocking those miles. Hey Jackie, how is you sister doing? I have been moving. I had my 4 year old grand daughter all weekend. She kept me BUSY! We played her kid bop music and both just danced and giggled Today I did Leslie 3 mile and strength training class I attend on Mondays and Thursdays. YoungAtHeart  glad to see your still getting around.  Good you been discharged,but why didn't he give you a pt referral.  I feel your frustration. Everyone keep on moving. Have a good night.

Glad you had a good day Missy. This morning did 5 miles with the Miracle Miles DVD and 1 mile walk outside. This afternoon did a 1 mile walk outside and this evening did a 1 mile with the Miracle Miles DVD.
