Give and get support around quitting

What gives?! NRT lozenge seemed to intensify my craving.

I'm on day 44 and I thought I'd experienced strong cravings previously, but this one has my legs shaking. When it began, I popped a lozenge and I SWEAR that made it worse. Has this happened to anybody else?

Congratulations on 44 days of Freedom...I am so sorry ... I didn’t use NRT’s so I don’t know anything about them giving a crave...keep busy and drink lots of water...when I had bad crave days early in my quit I would know that tomorrow usually would be better so I would do things to stop thinking about the crave...keep us posted...~ Colleen 370 DOF ~

It sounds like over-stimulation.  Did you also have caffeine?  If so, the combination of that and the nicotine might do it.  Only thing I can think of  --- idk!

Hi,

When I used a lozenge, I was taught to break it, put a piece under my tongue and swish.

Could you be using more nicotine than you had smoked?

I don't know.  Could you becoming down with something?

When in doubt, check with your doctor.

I hope you feel better.

Congrats I am a day behind you. But,it must be a crave cycle because the last couple of days. I have been a wreck emotionally, mad, frustrated, angry,on edge and a d*ick to my coworkers and I even been using more nic mints then I have and it may be caffiene ,just saw a post earlier where it can intensifies the symptoms and I been drinking an extra cup or two lately..

Hope your day is easier tomorrow.
