Dont understand?

Hello everyone!  I have a quick question.  I am on day 151 without a smoke.  The longest I've been in 34 years.  Now the question I have is this. When will i start feeling better?  Since I quit smoking I just dont feel that great. I had more energy and drive when I was smoking.  I know that probably dont make any sense to you but it's the truth.  My cravings are down to just one or two a week and they are very mild.  It's just the way I feel. Even my family says they think I felt better when I smoked.

sweetplt‌  I clicked on my profile (I guess that's home) and then I clicked on activity.  I found this  thread and was able to edit my original comment.  Thank you much!

Glad you figured it out.  A little more info:  when you click on the red bell icon upper right, it takes you to your inbox version of material.  If you click on a blog or conversation title from your inbox it offers limited features.  If you want to be able to edit your comment, just click on the title of the blog again in your inbox and it will appear front and center.  Then you will see the Actions logo under each response and the Edit function for your comment will be presented when you click on it.

PS - Home is located as indicated:

Thanks everyone for the help!

I have talked to my doctor and all blood work came back good.  My blood pressure did get a little out of normal after I quit smoking but I got put on meds for that and now everything is where it should be.

Glad for the good news from the Doctor...Peddler ... perhaps giving it more time ... and see .... also, when your energy is down...get moving...exercise, walk, etc., often our metabolism slows down from quitting...and we have to bump it up...~ Colleen

Your lack of energy may be due to the lack of dopamine that the cigarettes produced which may be lacking since you quit. Here is a blog you may want to read and research others by using the search engine.

Glad you saw a doctor and everything checked out OK.  Give it some time.  There is a lot of healing to occur after eliminating nicotine and a multitude of chemicals from your body.  The thyroid (hypothyroidism)  issue doesn't normally occur until one to two years after quitting.  Keep moving forward.
