Bloated

So since I have quit smoking, my stomach is so bloated and it feels like I’m so full when I eat even the smallest amount of food.

Whatever you do, don't give up because of bloating! Bloating isn't going to kill you like smoking will!!!!

I too suffered from the bloating! Felt like I was pregnant all the time, but here I am over 2 years ago since I quit, and rarely have any trouble with bloating anymore!

I will never go back to smoking!

Do some brisk walking, eat small meals but more often per day! Example .... 6 small meals per day! Include fiber, and drink plenty of water every day, before meals. Walking is so good for you, and because quitting slows your metabolism so much, you need to keep moving!

There are some articles here, look them up!

Just don't give up on your quit! It will get better, I promise!!!!

Hi and Welcome to Ex’s yatesla

How long have you been quit? Here is a good article about the withdrawal symptoms you may want to read.  Often when you first quit, you may experience gas which could cause the bloating.

I hope this helps, if it continues see your Doctor...~ Colleen 356 DOF

I can remember being very bloated and also very gassy in the beginning. Some of it had to with the choices I was making to much sugar, and fiber.  Once I balanced my diet a little more with excerise it let off a little.  Qutting smoking has more effects than you realize. Your doing great, keep moving forward, it will all pass....no pun intend..lol
