He wants to quit but doesn’t know how?

I am trying to help my son quit vaping. He has been vaping for a while( probably a year) and he wants to stop but he doesn’t know how . I want to help him in any way possible,  and I am looking for plan or a way how he can archive this goal.

Thank you

Eva

This is a great site for anyone that wants to quit nicotine in any form. Preparation, education, and loving support are all provided here. There will be people that will respond shortly to teach him how to navigate this site to get the most out of it. But it can't be done through you. He has to take that 1st step of writing a blog just to introduce himself and state that he needs help.

Although I wrote this for smokers, it applies to vapers also:  /blogs/Giulia-blog/2018/03/01/quitting-is-a-skill-that-can-be-learned?sr=search&searchId=54e2859a-61...‌  I don't know how old your son is, and that might make a difference, but humor is always a helpful tool in the process.  What sparks him?  Does he like challenges?  Then this is one of the greatest he can master.  What does he find fun?  He need to discover the fun part of quitting.  The EGO part, the part that makes him feel like a champion.  Just passing thoughts here.  Is he into electronics?  Or computers?  Maybe creating an app for quitting?  Does he like to draw, is he artistic?  The quit plan here is a good one, but he has to get the interest up to follow it.  I guess, Mom, that part of your task.  Good luck!
