Give and get support around quitting

Rewards

Have any of you set a reward for yourself for quitting?

I mean, yeah - sure, quitting is a reward in itself.  Being able to breath and not reeking of smoke are definitely the up side of powering through a crave.

I also made a list of (non-food) rewards that I will treat myself to for each week free of smoking

1. New coloring book

2. Black character shoes

3. Professional eyebrow services (really looking forward to this one!!!)

4. Car detail

5. A pair of Rothy's

What have y'all got on your lists?

Great list!  I did the car detail, and also got all of my dry cleanable (is that a word?) clothes dry cleaned.  It sounds boring and not as fun as a weekend trip or fancy dinner out, but I so appreciated the clean smell of everything it was sooo worth it!

I may add that to my list.  I know I need to wash coats and jackets for the smell.  I also have a stocking cap I wore whenever I smoked to keep the smell out of my hair.  I should probably just burn that.

/blogs/Giulia-blog/2013/09/10/how-precious-is-your-quit?sr=search&searchId=f25a1fce-e70d-412d-8ff0-e...‌    I actually buy myself trinkets often.  Figure if I smoked I'd be spending about ten bucks a day.  So if I'm at a grocery store, for example and see an artichoke, I'll get myself one (which normally I wouldn't because they're so expensive).  But it might be a pair of earrings, or a new pair of gardening gloves (before my old ones have worn out) or maybe a new hummingbird feeder.  I consider them rewards of a sort.

I didn't save my money for one thing.  I've bought my self some things like clothes or jewelry, used some for Christmas last year, and much has gone to my new dog.

Absolutely! I gave myself a pretty ring at 30 days of freedom, and a 90-day chip from Nicotine Anonymous, and then Mandolinrain made me a really pretty necklace and charm for my one year anniversary.
