Give and get support around quitting

Is there a good place to share daily as I get ready to quit?

I was on this site years ago.  It doesn’t seem as user friendly to me somehow?  Is there an app and is it easier to access and share on daily.  I am using whyquit.com as well. Like Joel

Glad you're back!

Our site is mobile responsive so it will adjust to any screen.  No need for an app.  Some people blog as they feel the need to journal their experiences. You can also reply by email which is new since we moved to this new site. It let's you reply on the go without having to login.

You could bookmark Create a personal blog. And just go there and write every day.

A lot of the peer support activity occurs in Conversations‌ of the site.

Welcome and I too used this site and I love Joel at whyquit.com too! Here you just blog what your going through day by day and everyone will share their OWN recovery and you get to CHOOSE which to TRY ON  and IF it works good -  IF not TRY another way until YOU find what recovery works just fir YOU -  it takes TIME and please give us TIME to answer - gentle hug.

We never get tired of daily blogs that seek support, share their experience, hope and support with others or even just come to whine (much better than relapse.) Blog and comment frequently. We'll be here for you!

You might check out https://excommunity.becomeanex.org/community/community-help/blog/2017/02/14/ex-to-ex-instructions  for help in getting around this new platform.  You can put up a daily blog or a conversation or a status update.  Though the latter doesn't seem to be as visible as the other two.

We are here...many of us were on the old platform and it took some time to get used to this one but it has lots of bells and whistles, blogging is a good way to get your concerns and progress out there...we will comment.  We have all been where you are, we all remember the beginning.

Welcome back.

Hey George we share the same first name, wish I had see you earlier, cause I'm new here, and navigation is a breeze with a laptop, r u using a phone, I'v had some problems using my phone for it too.  Well as a newbi here, I take to this spot for a hour somedays and other days much more.  For me the education I get from reading other posts keeps me motivated in my quit.  Sometimes it arouses my curiosity to do web searches for more information about a specific topic which often collaborates what I have read here.  Sorry you find EX not suitable, here is one that you might be interested in.  Its located in Australia, is run by the gov't there somehow ( health dept I believe )

Here's an interesting question for you to find on that site is how much is a pack of Cigarettes in Australia ?

Either place is worth it for your health, no one can force you, but these places are a safe place to vent, learn, research, and ask.  and most of all, there is positive influence for you to grasp onto in your thought process as you venture into this large change in your lifestyle.  Addiction is a tough one to overcome, not only the nicotine part, but the everyday assembly of your life that revolved around the smoking.  Anyhow, we're here, and Best of luck !
