nanawendy‌ 2200 days, maquitter 1900 days,  gouldnk‌ 1300 days, reeree67‌ 1100 days. How will you inspire others today?

Please check your Community Profile to see if you've indicated how many cigarettes on average you smoked per day. Then go to the My Quit Stats tab in your profile to see how many cigarettes you have avoided or put the mouse over your username and then click the little "ex" button in the lower left of the hovercard pop-up.

Thank you so much but I blew it    already this morning. Day 1 fail. I'm gonna try again. I'm so sick of being controlled by this!

Check out this post.  There are probably some responses in there that will help you to get on a path towards better planned quit.  And the community is here for you.

QuitMeNow‌  Don't give up.  Many of us had failures before we succeeded at quitting.  Understanding this addiction will help to overcome it.  Those of us who are successful at it spent a lot of time educating ourselves.  If you haven't, check out Best of EX‌  and /blogs/Giulia-blog/2018/03/01/quitting-is-a-skill-that-can-be-learned?sr=search&searchId=7704d061-ca...‌  and take a gander at the cartoon below.  I don't know if you made a plan, but a strong plan/preparation will help greatly.  You can do this!  You're not alone.

Giulia‌ I really find this little graphic...can't count the number of times I have watched it.  It's so simple...guess that's the beauty of it.

You mean the video cartoon?  Yes, I've watched it numerous times also.  There's something about the cartoon/drawing format that really helps it to seep into the brain.

Giulia‌ Yes...there is a saying in AA, the acronym is KISS, keep it simple, stupid.  Some of us have a tendency to intellectualize and make things much harder than they need to be...much more complicated.  Simple cartoons and drawings can reach into that space in our brains that we spend a lot of time thinking we have to push away, for whatever reason.  I know that I overthink a lot of things...blah, blah, blah, blah.  SEE, I am doing it again!  LOL.
