Is this normal?

I’m past my 100 days and today was one of the hardest days since my quit.

For me either coming up on a milestone or just passing one did sometimes cause a craving.  Mostly psychological in my opinion - kind of like you inner nicodemon trying to say that you "deserve just one" as a reward.  But we don't fall for those lies any more Ralph.  You got this!

I have noticed that the second I think, "I got this", I have the crave from Hell.

Like some greater power keeping me in check and from getting to cocky.

Because it doesn't matter how long a quit we have going, we're only a puff away from a pack a day....

Sadly, I think I'll ALWAYS have to stay on my toes.

Yes it is normal. Just remember everything you did when the urge hit. Breathe. It will pass sooner 5han it did in the beginning days. You got this!

Everything is pretty normal during a quit! You can't tell when the addiction craves will rear their disgusting heads.....have to stay on guard for quite some time.

I don't know where you live but for me....season change was always another hurdle. I live in 4 seasons country........my husband and I used to rake our leaves in Autumn and take frequent cigarette breaks.....so raking leaves used to send us "over the edge" in the beginning of our quits. Winter----long afternoon breaks after he'd be shoveling snow all morning we'd make coffee, smoke and watch the snow fall. Spring----fishing together was when we smoked.......Summer.....ALL kinds of triggers!! Canoeing, hiking......everything since you;re mostly outside!

Hang in there....everything is fine and YOU---------------HAVE 100+ DAYS!!!! YAY YOU!!!!

Normal.  Cravings come out of the blue sometimes triggered by seasons, by unhappy emotional traumas, by milestones.  And sometimes for no reason whatsoever.  /blogs/Giulia-blog/2015/08/21/stay-safe-be-prepared   When you understand that fact, you may not be less surprised, but you'll know that it's just par for this smoke-free course.  And you'll also know, through time and experience, that they will go away - and then return.  Our jobs are to protect our quits under ALL circumstances.  If you still want one, you're still vulnerable.  The day I consider myself invincible against this addiction is that day that I forgot what it cost me.  I hope I never forget that.  Because I don't ever want another Day One.

Keep breathing, friend. Even if it is a minute at a time just keep them away from your face. Remember all those tools that got you here - 100 days is so wonderful!
