Reward Badges

Looks like Jive has changed some things on the platform  for the better!  Just noticed that if you go to your home page and look at your Recent Badges - if you hover over a reward you will see the person who gave it to you.  Which is really kind of nice.  It takes it from the anonymous smilie face or star to a more personal level.  And that makes the badge experience (if you're into badges and the like) much more meaningful.

Maybe this has been happening for a while and I just never noticed it.  Because I don't tend to hover over my badges, but I just wanted point it out.

Mark  Am I incorrect in thinking this is new?  And PS, when doing an @ Mark, you didn't pop up as first on the list as usual.  Do we now have to search to find you?  I can understand if you want to hide.  Just an FYI in case you didn't know that.

Will do.

Something funky has happened twice now that has never happened before.  Just an FYI.  The following is an example in my inbox:

I believe it shows the last person to comment on a blog or discussion. So because at the time you loaded the inbox you were the last one to comment it showed you. If you loaded the Inbox after I had last commented it would show me.  If there were multiple comments since you last looked it would have a number to the left of the blue unread dot. I think this is normal.  I see myself in the Inbox for /blogs/Thomas3.20.2010-blog/2018/03/20/exsmokers-have-more-fun?sr=inbox  as I am the last one to comment on that blog.

I did NOT go to this blog until AFTER I saw the above.  (It said "less than a minute ago" on the right side.)  And usually we don't see our own responses in our own inbox.

Also just saw this.  Could just be a glitch with my computer in this case.

I'm guessing this is a caching or rendering issue. If you refresh I imagine it will go away. If you are seeing it frequently it may be a problem.  but I'm guessing not at this point. Keep an eye out please.

Nope, not working any more.  Interestingly when I put in the "at" sign your name pops up, but it disappears when I type the at sign plus your name after it.  See examples below.  Mark

Ok thanks for the additional context Giulia‌.

The support team has documented it. I know there are some updates coming next week, some of which improve @mentions. Hopefully things will improve with @mentions.  Perhaps this issue will get fixed as well.

Just tried @community.  Nope, you aren't there.  But you're still there with just the @.

What am I, chopped liver?  Just kidding, always wanted to have an opportunity to say that and you gave me one!

Every January/February for the past couple of years I have CRAVED liver, so I fix some with onions, dredge in flour and lightly brown - and it is DELICIOUS!  My parents used to cook it until you could use it as soles of your shoes - and it was awful...surprised I even tried it again!
