Are we not doing points anymore?

I keep getting notified about my "latest acclaim" but have been at the same number of points for like two weeks I think.  If we're not doing points anymore, the "leaderboard" is meaningless.  If we are still doing points, why hasn't mine moved at all?  Is it broken?

Thanks Mark. I don't know how I would have lost 400 points either, but I did. I have seen my counter trying to calculate, but the total never changes. My point total remains 400 less than it was a month ago. I know that some elders say it doesn't matter, but it isn't happening to them. I love this site, and wish you and all my EX buddies the best. 

To those of you new in your quits - do all that you need to do to keep your quit. It is so very worth it.

ALL are given your points back and with TONS of love and y'all are ALL leaders here too....there now all is well.....ty ty ty .....please y'all ALL keep coming back the points are given SPIRITUALLY BY GOD! Yahoooooo lol please one MUST have a sense of humor for you MUST not take your SELF so seriously......squirrel!!!!!

Note to all who care:

This is an ongoing issue.  A bit ago there was a flurry of points being awarded as a fun way to say thanks.  There was a glitch and the points were deducted from the givers - but never showed up for the recipients.  We were told this couldn't be fixed.  Since then I have ignored them...up to you!

Mark, to confirm, I did get 400 points added back to my account, I assume by some clerical action; thanks. I appreciate that, and the efforts of you and your Jive team to fix the point counter problem.

My counter is still broken, however, and I have not received any earned points since the 4/5 date you mention - well over 2000 - 3000 points not received, although we'll never know exactly. I do not see any other Ex members similarly effected. I would feel differently if there was a solution on the horizon, or if you could say that the problem will ever even be fixed. So until then, I've decided to take a little break. Thanks for the great job you do for EX. All the best.

We're not the only community customer affected by the issue so it's being investigated at a higher priority than other issues. It's been going on and off for some time now. This leads me to believe that the issue is fairly elusive and oddly only affects some members. There is no rhyme or reason at this point. That being said, I can't put a timeline on when I expect it to be fixed if solutions up to this point haven't been 100 percent effective. Regardless, your actions/contributions on the community up to this point are recorded so while I can't say when they will be credited I believe that when the issue is resolved you'll receive additional points to catch you up.  The points that are given via badges. Those are a different story. It may be possible that those points are re-populated into the badge-givers account however I don't know if the badge-receiver will receive the points unless they're awarded again.  This is my speculation at this point as it is as much as I have to go on.  

On Thursday I discussed with the Jive team some potential alternative solutions. We're just gathering data at this point to determine what our options would be and the resulting impact. When I have all the facts we'll determine next steps.

Sorry that the points have had a negative impact on you. While you only notice that you're affected there are likely others as well. Your impact isn't measured by points though. The quality, length and quantity of your participation is apparent regardless of the incorrect point totals.  So please come back to us when you're ready.

An update.  Jive Support team reports that all members should be earning points again. If you're not. Please respond and I'll have your account looked into.

The points that should have been earned and awarded(along with a badge from another member) will not show in your account. Jive realizes the frustration caused and continues to work on this issue. We're currently looking at what alternatives (beyond waiting for a solution) could be done since this issue has been ongoing for sometime in one form or another.
