Give and get support around quitting

Thanks for sharing that post from Dr Hurt. I hope you are feeling better today and those cravings are going away. I have been very inspired by the group that is doing the keep moving 4 times a week challenge. I cant find the post though.
I can totally relate to wanting to replace the horrible and negative smoking habit with excercise and good nutrition. However I must confess that although i have worked out 3 times this week, I also CANNOT stop eating right now. And all of it is crabs. Im eating so much right now its ridiculous. So concerned but its early in the quit.
I agree that quitting smoking could be a good spark for excercise and nutrition! Keep well.
I definitely believe cake is a mandatory, veggie for me right now!! I lift weights to get rid of the urges to take flight. It is exhausting, but seems to help a lot. I do other things as well..

I've always Exercised
Eat Healthy 95% of the time.
Those things and my age of soon to be 64
Are what led to this Site and another try of Quitting!
Told my friends: It is Stupid for me to Smoke
I've always exercised and eaten a healthy diet.
From time to time I need extra sugar or carbs!
Like right NOW!!!!!!
Came to the point that, if I did that other stuff
Kept Smoking, was I undoing those other efforts?????
IN THE PAST 10 YEARS, I'VE TRIED 6-8 TIMES AND FAILED.
I now know my Emotional Stuffing caused me to Fail...
So this Time is going to be the LAST TIME!
THANKS to this site and all the preparation:
I KNOW MY ENEMY THAT MADE ME FEEL LIKE
I WAS ALWAYS GOING TO EXPLODE AND UNLOAD ON SOMEONE.
This time, I reduced my daily caffeine consumption
So I am more Calm, I added even more Veggies to my meals
Reduced my beef intake, increased my lean proteins
This winter I've eaten more Salmon,Chicken and Pork Loin
I am lucky to be in southern Texas where
Fresh Veggies and Fruits are less expensive
Plentiful and Veggie Man comes to the park once a week.
I also eat whole grains whenever I can find them.
I am thin but that was not always the case....
42 yrs. ago my Emotional Stuffing was FOOD!
When I said,enough I was 200 lbs. It was time to do something.
I was trapped in the country with 2 babies and few friends.
I was already a smoker back then but nothing like
the ADDICTION MORPHED INTO over 45 yrs.
Now, I know that my physical issues and injuries
Do Not Allow me to carry any extra weight.
Anything you want to get going...I'M IN!!!!!!!!
Thinking I'll need extra exercise until my body goes through
all the sorting of not being a Smoker.......
I currently go to classes here 4 times a wk.
The classes will end when I arrive up north at main home.
I HAVE A LIST FOR MY STRETCHING,TONING AND BONE BUILDING CLASS
I also have a stationary bike,treadmill and elliptical units
This info is just to informed you as to where I am
We have a Ladies Day out for lunch,so I have to go
