20 days without smoking

Hello beautiful people from arround the world .

good day

i want to share my happiness with you all as you all have supported me in my tough times

I have completed 20 days without smoking a single cigarette and without nicotine patch’s

I have went through chest x-ray as I was getting negative feeling but by the grace of GOD everything was normal my doctor told that it’s only mucus in your lungs as your were smoking for years and it will take time to clear mucus,

but I have some question here

1- im feeling weak and tired

2 - im facing somebody pains such as pain in left arm but now it’s fine and now slight pain in neck and lower back and right side ankle is it because My body is not getting nicotine ? And i’m feeing weak?

You had some aches and pains before you quit smoking, I'm guessing - so you can expect those after you quit, as well.  Not all of them are related to quitting smoking!  Here is a list of withdrawal from smoking symptoms that you might find helpful:  /blogs/Youngatheart.7.4.12-blog/2018/01/04/early-withdrawal-symptoms

Congratulations on your 20 day quit! You are doing GREAT - keep it up!

Congratulations on 20 days, please stay close to the site...be patient with your body, it has been patient with your addiction.  You are almost at three weeks, that is awesome. When we first quit, I think we are acutely aware of our bodies and things that we ignored when we were smoking.  Be patient, I know it does not come easily to any of us.

Welcome to EX!

Good points and advice have been given above me.  I especially like:  elvan‌'s "be patient with your body, it has been patient with your addiction."

So glad your chest xray show no negative affects from smoking!  YAY!  After 20 days' quit you're feeling weak and tired.  I'd suggest looking at other reasons than just the fact that you quit.  Give it some more time.  You're still getting used to the new normal.  Many cheers on your 20 days.  Keep it up!

Nicotine is such a powerful drug! Naturally it's going to affect our energy and strength when it's gone. It takes a long time for our bodies to find its new "normal". I'm similar # of days as you, so I'm going through the same thing.
