Where is Thomas

Jump to solution

Please let me know if anyone knows where Thomas is I would appreciate it. Thank you. I just miss him. Does anyone know if Thomas is on vacation? Thomas leads the COPD groups. I love him for he was in the very beginning of MY nicotine freedom and I haven't seen any comments shared or current blogs. Thank you for responding.

Thank You, Diane Joy for your concern! Sadly I have had more bad news and family crisis. You see, Wed before Thanksgiving my cousin was murdered. We still don't know all of the circumstances but have reason to believe that her husband was responsible.

Angelina was travelling about 10 miles on a public bus and disappeared. Her body was found the next day 2 states away. I grew up with Angelica and we were very good cousins. My heart is broken!

Angelica had been involved in an abusive relationship for 17 Years and had left for a whole Year but like so many women in her situation returned to her husband. It was hard for all of us because he was very controlling and isolated her from her Family. Now she's gone...

I just need to pray and contemplate God's Will and grieve and then grieve some more.

He was here today and commented on this blog:

He is not as active lately but does make an appearance from time to time.

He was here today and he is here as much as I think he can be right now, he is adjusting to a new job and he has been having health issues.  He's still leading the way for all of us with COPD, I do not know what I would do without him.

Thomas has been an angel for many of us, as well as an educator.  He does the research and breaks it down so that we can relate to it, I have learned more about COPD from him than from anyone or anywhere else and I am a retired RN.  Sadly, it is an area that is really not very well covered in medical education.  I feel guilty for all the times I was impatient with people who had COPD and were anxious, I had no idea that they were having such a difficult time between the hard time breathing, the fatigue, and the depression that seems to go hand in hand with that diagnosis.  I also have rheumatoid arthritis now and I never understood how bad the pain was, of course, back when I worked, people were admitted to the hospital if they were flaring, they were given high doses of pain medication and I had NO idea how much pain they were in until I was diagnosed.  It has taught me NEVER to judge another person for any kind of difficulty they are having, physical or mental...there but for the Grace of God....

Have a beautiful day, beautiful lady.  HEY, did you get a computer?  Certainly, the library is not open at all hours.  I am excited for you, it is ALWAYS wonderful to hear from you.

Love,

Ellen

Thanks Ellen and FYI screw that false guilt that just Satan trying to coax you into self and you know where that can lead... just turn your head and blog..,. Experience is a wonderful teacher as are my mistakes my failures... it shows me I am trying to live in MY own skin and not blame God people or Satan because I have the CHOICE in the end it's all MY decision every single choice I make.... that's what's so funny each time I will try to accept and not use anything person place situation circumstances to fall back into bondage of self! Only by Gods grace I remain nicotine free with ALL here. Thanks for sharing and caring Ellen and no computer I am using my phone.its on slow mode cuz I used all my gigabytes! Lol

Thomas has needed some alone time to re-group.  Have no fear, he will be back full force when he is ready.

This painting was on the wall of a cabin in which I stayed a few years back when I was doing a show in SC.  Thought you might like it.

Happy Thanksgiving.
