Give and get support around quitting

The Process

This is all a process to go through.  From the first few days, to the first week, 2nd week, 3 week, one month.

Two months, 3 months on onward to permanent freedom.  I will be patient with the process.  And my days will add up like pearls on a string.  Quitting is a journey, not an event.  I understand that now.

I like your comment that your days will add up like pearls on a string .

Beautiful and true .

Maybe you need to make a necklace from pearl looking beads or real lol and add a bead a day for the win . That would be so cool . Another tool in the toolbox .

Thanks for sharing this post , it will help many . You are a great inspiration to those to come Christine , and I enjoy reading your posts so much .  Keep writing . I'm glad you are here .

Quitting is a process indeed.  In science it's described as:  "A method or event that results in a transformation in a physical or biological object, a substance or an organism; a change from one state to another."  We are transformed through this process.  Our emotional and physical beings, altered.  We go from a smoking state to a non-smoking state of being.  You hang onto, Chris, and keep adding those beautiful pearls of freedom.
