Give and get support around quitting
To all the newbies and anyone starting over. Take Baby steps you will go further. One day at a time even if you have to break it down to half a day or 3/4.
If necessary take it by the hour OR a minute to make it a lot easier.
Quitting is doable with a plan...
It is not a race (Breathe) but a journey which is doable. SHNNP
Stay close,
Hang tough,
Never give up,
Never give in
Protect your quit.
In this journey to quit, we know our ultimate destination (to become tobacco-free), yet focusing too far into the future can make us impatient with the present, frustrated with the bumps along the path. When we set manageable goals for ourselves, it can become easier to concentrate on moving forward, one day at a time.

Best advice I ever got as a newbie. Thanks for the reminder Jackie.
It's amazing how that first step can lead to so many more. I can't believe it's been over 4 years for me now. Wow.
Love this!! It's a journey, not a race. Take your time and enjoy the baby steps
It is truly is one day at a time. Tomorrow does not matter
Bay Steps...…………….awesome. And the following comments were great. I so do appreciate all the support you put out there for everyone, to help us all stay strong. pmt
Sometimes, it has to be one feeling at a time since we are so used to stuffing our feelings.
Yes, I agree, baby steps, and one feeling at a time. I have to sometimes break it down to every fifteen minutes at a time.

Yep we even need ta crawl before we walk and take that first baby step..It's all in the prep! We also gotta realize we can't stay in baby mode forever. At some time in our early quits we need ta start outgrowing the diaper stage too
Don't wanna walk around in soiled pants forever....We gotta do what we gotta do to grow up also and that includes being vigilant with our quits and protect them at all costs
