What was your withdrawal symptoms?

If you don’t mind me asking I would like to know what your withdrawal symptoms were? My first attempt to quit, I had the flu like symptoms.

I just became angry.  Probably had a lot of other withdrawal symptoms but the anger is the thing I remember most.

Maybe that wasn't even a symptom, just an emotion - but I cannot remember the rest.

I felt disoriented but I came to EX whenever I could and I read and read.  I was honestly so proud of myself that I wasn't smoking that I am certain I drove people crazy talking about it ALL the time.  I was definitely crabby and impatient with people but it passed, all of the negatives passed as the positives became stronger.

Empty.

Crazy.

Anxious.

Doped up on caffeine.

Sad.

Tired from disupted sleep.

Confused about how could I give up smoking just like that after excusing it for decades.

Confused.

Disinterested in my normal routine.

Resentful for being disinterested in my normal routine.

Resentful toward others for not having to go through what I was going through.

Upset.

Upset that I was upset.

Worried that I would never get over smoking and so feel everything listed above forever. Hell on Earth.

It all passed. I'm well today.

One day at a time, yes you can.
