Folks with COPD cannot be around smoke - either their own or especially somebody else's! Second and Third hand smoke is actually worse than first hand smoke! YOU MUST tell your family and friends that from this point forward you must never ever be around smoke in your home, anybody's car, or even out in the open! YOU MUST not come in contact with smoke of any kind including fireplaces, candles,...... ALL SMOKE!
Each exposure takes away days, even weeks away from your life! It's exactly as if that person stuck a dagger in your lung and twisted it! If you want to live then you will slowly but surely make many lifestyle choices but none of them serve any purpose if you continue to smoke and be around second hand smoke!
COPD means that your LIFE has changed!
