New Day: Be Encouraged

Posted by JACKIE1-25-15 Aug 20, 2018

I am never sure when or what I will write about in a blog.  My goal is to allow the Spirit to lead me in the direction He has purposed.  I will try to be as brief as possible.  Lately, there have been numerous blogs of those who are reaching out because of the trials they are going through.  Not just the trials of quitting smoking but some very serious life situations.  Just to name a few, sickness, ailments, injuries, depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, anger, fear, broken marriages or relationships, drug addiction, wayward children, loss of employment, loss of a loved one, divorce, or financial burdens.  The list could go on and it saddens me but I want you to be encouraged and know that trouble does not last always.   Be encouraged, in spite of what you are going through and believe that it is just a matter of time if you hold on, keep the faith and trust in the Lord with all your heart, through prayer and supplications you will make it through the storm.  In just a matter of time, you will see change but while you are going through stay rooted in the truth.  When things don't seem to be going your way do not give up.  Keep the faith for the breakthrough.  Believe that the closed doors will be opened.  There is restoration through Jesus Christ.  No more tears, stress, heartache, burdens or pain to bear alone.  He can bear it all for you if you put your trust in Him.   Your prayers have victory and are already answered but you have to wait on the Lord.

Matthew 7:7 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

As you wait, faint not, fear not, worry not, be anxious for nothing.

Philippians 4Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

You may be down but you are not out. Things can change with one word from God which is more powerful than a lifetime of lies from the enemy.  The storms of life do not last forever.  Your marriage, your dreams, whatever you are going through do not give up.  Throw out the insecurity, lack of confidence, low self-esteem and walk in faith. Know that you are not alone because the battle is not yours.  It is the Lords so give it to Him.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

While you are waiting for the victory keep worshipping and praising God through it all.

James 1:2My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces [a]patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be [b]perfect and complete, lacking nothing

I know this may seem hard but there is so much victory in this passage. Someone may not support you but do not let that be a stumbling block because it is just a matter of time and God will receive the glory for your victory.

Remember life was not meant to be perfect so in the meantime but count it all joy, the good and the bad.

Ephesians 6: 10-18  Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,

15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Amen
